The Brewing Table Ministries

"Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD..."
-Isaiah 1:18

Join us virtually every Sunday at 8pm ET.

Who are we?

Followers of Christ

We're Christians who follow Jesus in belief and practice.

What is this?

A Roundtable Discussion

An open conversation for anyone interested in Jesus Christ.

Why are we doing this?

To foster dialogue

We desired to create a non-church environment to welcome casual discussions about Jesus and the christian faith. Open to all ⁃ whether believer or skeptic, or those just curious about Christ ⁃ to ultimately spread the Love and Truth of Jesus and the Gospel.

When and Where do you meet?

Virtually every Sunday at 8pm ET.

We'll be logged on via Google Meet every Sunday at 8pm ET. See above for meeting link.

Samuel & Devennie Molina

Founders

We are a husband and wife team with a heart for
reaching both people who wouldn't normally walk into a church, and new believers looking for fellowship. We
started The Brewing Table to open our table to anyone asking questions about Jesus, no matter where they're
starting from. Our hope is simple: that this table becomes a
place where real conversation leads to real faith.

FAQ

What should I expect when I log on? +
An unstructured, free-flowing conversation. We can work through a passage as a Bible study together, take on a topic on faith or religion, or just open the floor to whatever questions people bring. No pressure to talk, but feel free to input your thoughts and perspectives.
What if I don't consider myself religious at all? +
Then this is for you. This isn't a church service, and you don't need any Bible background to show up. Believer, skeptic, or just curious about Christ - all are welcome.
Can I invite a friend? +
Of course! All are welcome.
What if I don't want to be on camera? +
That's fine. Cameras off is okay, and there's no pressure to speak either. Come and listen if that's what you need.
What makes Jesus different from any other historical or religious leader? +
Jesus made claims about Himself that no other historical figure made. We look at His life, His words, and the resurrection, and let you weigh the claims, ideas, and foundation of this faith yourself.
Are you going to try to convert me or pressure me? +
No, this is a place to reason together, not to pressure you into anything. Our heart is to build real community and fellowship, and to give you a chance to hear the Gospel of Jesus and His Word, presented plainly and without watering it down. We’ll encourage you to consider it, because we believe it’s true and it matters. So, bring your questions and your doubts. Any next step is yours to take, on your own time, and we will always be here!

Resources

New to the Bible? Start Here +

Don't feel like you need to start on page one. A good place to begin is the Gospel of John, a firsthand account of the life of Jesus and gives you a clear picture of who He is.

Read a little at a time. A chapter a day is a great pace, and it's okay to go slow, re-read, or sit with questions as they come up.

Suggested Bible Translations +

NLT (New Living Translation) : the most readable of the four, great if you're just getting started.

ESV (English Standard Version) : a close, word-for-word translation, great for study.

NASB (New American Standard Bible) : one of the most literal translations available, often used alongside deeper study.

NIV (New International Version) : balances accuracy and readability, widely used for everyday reading.

Recommended Study Bibles +

ESV Study Bible : in-depth notes, maps, and articles alongside the full text, great for digging deeper into context and meaning.

NASB Study Bible : pairs a highly literal translation with detailed study notes for close reading.

Find a Local Church +

The Brewing Table is a conversation, not a church. We want to see you plugged into a local body of believers too. Here are a few in the area:

Books for Seekers & Skeptics +

Mere Christianity : C.S. Lewis

The Reason for God : Timothy Keller

The Case for Christ : Lee Strobel
